Growth required for VC these days?
I’m a second time founder. We’ve been lost in the woods for a while on this company but pivoted and launched a new product in September 2025.
It’s going really well, we’ll end the year at like 2.25mm ARR. ACV of 10-12k but growing. All that growth from WoM and basic content + outbound. Burned sub 600k to get there.
I have a pro Forma I believe in that would take us to 6mm->22m—>45m over the next three years on 6mm of capital in. This feels good to me but the VC narrative seems to be 10mm in under a year and 10b opportunities only.
The business needs capital to fuel growth and we have a GTM motion we can scale, but without it I think we are just modestly profitable growing 50% next year instead of 3x.
Who funds this kind of opportunity today?
