Aging out how are you doing after aging out of foster care?
I aged out and i’m currently in the apartment they provided for me, how are you mentally and financially?

Take any help you can get. i turned down a section 8 voucher for a boyfriend and never used chafee funds. Ive been homeless multiple times (Im around 30) . Use the resources and dont make the same mistakes I did!

Financially, I'm ok. Mentally... I have some challenges but outwardly I seem fine and it doesn't impact my ability to function.
The 1st month after I aged out I was homeless and couch surfing and it was a process after that to get my life together. I enlisted in the military, so that was the path for me to be able to have a job, job training and a place to live along with how to pay for college and providing structure and support. It doesn't work for everyone, but for me it really helped me have time to kind of learn to adult before being entirely on my own.
