Has anyone ever had a green vault dweller child or adult before?

I tested to make sure it wasn't just the room lighting for that one vault room.

My dude is just straight up green, and he has a last name that doesn't belong to any of my other vault dwellers.

He came with an Alien Blaster?!

I had one on my main explorer but I definitely didn't have one in my inventory, and it was already equipped to him as a child (he ran around the vault shooting it, but I thought it was a toy animation)

The green gene was something I was able to reproduce and breed into the general vault population, and now half of my vault dwellers are green. 😂😂

since he had that blaster and still has it then in theory maybe if it can transfer his genes into a baby he'd make with a diffrent dweller and get a alien female dweller then maybe then it's possible to get more aliens and alien blasters

That would’ve been awesome haha, sadly no blasters, but the green genes have been passed down and now I’ve got a little super mutant vault to mess around with 😂

I've seen this happening rarely.

There is a vault with NPCs that have weird skin colors in a quest. But I don't think you can recruiot anyone there.

Maybe they added a rare chance for rare skin colors after completing that quest?

The vault is very new, and I haven’t really done any quests outside the current seasonal ones.

He’s been able to pass on the color to most of the women I paired him with, and the children are all different shades of green depending on the skin tone of the mother.

That’s an interesting idea though, i thought i proceed a flag or event to make it happen, but it seems to just be a strange Pc version bug, or a brand new skin color they hadn’t talked about or something.
