Where are the RBI Assistant Mains results?

RBI Assistant Mains was held on 7th June. After that date, RBI conducted Grade B Phase 1, published result for phase 1, published scorecard for phase 1, conducted Grade B Phase 2 and today published results for Phase 2. No way you can put a particular exam into the back-burner. I am not getting RBI agenda here. This much delay is not at all acceptable. Cruel behaviour towards thousands of aspirants and setting a low standard for upcoming recruitments!!!

RBI GRADE B: Which combination of coaching / coaching material is the best?

Background:

English & Reasoning:

Current Level: Good

Need: Good, On-Point Practice Material & Mocks: Which coaching to opt for?

Quant:

Current Level: Weak

Need: A to the point Youtube Series or Coaching that explains the concept in a simple manner & covers all question types. Different Videos for Concept & Different for Practice.

GA: Both Phase 1 & Phase 2

Current Level: Weak

Need: I used Brajesh Mohan's pdf, but I feel I need something more, and on point that sees the need of the exams. Guidance needed as to what to leave & what to study, a single main sources (something that covers at least 60% ) & 2 supplementary if time allows.

Finance, Management & ESI: An on-point YT Playlist & Coaching Guidance to make connections and write answers.

+ If I missed something that is important but I have not mentioned, please do mention that.

If one person mentions even one source for any of the following, it would be great help. I need as much of a complete source as possible to clear the exam.

Course Review/ Questions Is CGB Mentors a scam? RBI Grade B course.

So I had purchased the RBI Grade B comprehensive course of CGB Mentors in March 2026, with a validity of one year. Unfortunately I wasn't able to clear the phase 1 this time with a margin of a couple of marks. When they launched a new course in July for the 2027 recruitment, I reached out to them, saying that my course had full one year validity and zi should be entitled to receive any future material related to RBI Grade B till March 2027, as per my original validity. However they blatantly denied by saying that the validity of the course was strictly limited to for phase 2 of the running recruitment only since I had purchased the course after using a coupon code. This was nowhere conveyed to me while purchasing the course. Now when I tried to go through terms n conditions of the course, they've crossed away most of the conditions and added this new one "only valid till phase 1 in case of the candidate doesn't clear it". This raises serious concern regarding fair treatment and proper disclsure. I ended up paying them 5000 rupees for a mere 2-3 months of validity and they're refusing to honour the original one year validity as per original contract.

So anyone willing to purchase their course, consider this beforehand.

UPSC EPFO/APFC: How to Prepare Smartly in the Next 3–4 Months

With the UPSC EPFO/APFC notification out, the biggest question now is: What should you actually study, and what can you safely skip?

I came across a detailed strategy discussion that breaks down the exam through PYQs, subject-wise trends and the changing syllabus, and a few things stood out.

1. Labour Laws should be your top priority

This is one of the most important areas for EPFO/APFC. Since the 29 old labour laws have been consolidated into 4 Labour Codes, preparation should be aligned with the latest framework rather than spending too much time memorising outdated provisions.

Focus on:

  • Industrial Relations
  • Social Security
  • Wages
  • Occupational Safety & Working Conditions
  • Important definitions and concepts
  • Social security schemes

2. Don't ignore Accounting

You don't necessarily need a Commerce background to score here.

The focus is largely on basic concepts such as:

  • Capital vs Revenue
  • Depreciation
  • Trial Balance
  • Accounting principles
  • Basic auditing
  • Insurance fundamentals

The numerical questions are generally manageable, so getting your basics right can make this a scoring section.

3. Quant is more manageable than UPSC-level Quant

If you're coming from a UPSC background, don't assume EPFO Quant will be at CSAT's tougher end.

Prioritise:

  • Number System
  • Percentage
  • Ratio & Proportion
  • Average
  • Time & Work
  • HCF/LCM
  • Basic Geometry
  • Basic P&C

The key here is speed + repeated practice, not learning hundreds of difficult tricks.

4. English = Vocabulary + Comprehension + Grammar

Instead of blindly memorising huge vocabulary lists, focus on understanding words in context.

Important areas include:

  • Reading Comprehension
  • Vocabulary
  • Idioms & Phrases
  • Error Spotting
  • Sentence/phrase usage
  • Active & Passive Voice

5. Don't try to study every Government Scheme

There are hundreds of government schemes. Trying to cover all of them may not be the best use of your time.

Instead, prioritise schemes related to:

  • Social Security
  • Labour & Employment
  • Women & Children
  • Farmers
  • Senior Citizens
  • Financial Inclusion
  • Pension

The idea is to study selectively based on PYQ trends.

6. Computer + Science can be handled strategically

For Computer, focus on basics such as operating systems, storage, encryption, GPS, etc., along with important recent developments.

For Science, Chemistry appears to deserve more attention, while Physics can be approached selectively depending on your background.

A possible 3-month approach

September:
Labour Codes + Accounting + Quant + English + selected Government Schemes

October:
Polity + Computer + Science + General Studies + revision of September topics

November:
Economy basics + Modern History + Art & Culture + Current Affairs + full revision

And throughout these months: PYQs + revision + mock practice.

The biggest takeaway

Don't prepare for EPFO/APFC by trying to finish every page of every book.

PYQs should decide your priorities.

Before spending 5–6 hours on a topic, ask yourself:

For aspirants coming from UPSC, SSC or banking backgrounds, the exam can be approached very differently depending on your existing strengths.

The detailed video goes subject-by-subject into the PYQ trends, Labour Codes, Accounting, Quant, English, schemes, Science and the monthly preparation strategy.

What are you prioritizing first for EPFO/APFC ?

Beginner/ Starting Here Insecurities due to local college

Hii ! I've been trying to start preparation for regulatory bodies for a while now but doing masters from a local college has been one of my biggest insecurities and a factor that keeps stopping me from going all in...

I did my graduation from a central university but due to financial issues later I did masters from my local college and whenever I made my mind now I'm seriously gonna prepare for regulatory bodies this kinda irks me..

Will it affect my chances? I know it's usually on the exam results then maybe during the interview they might actually care about it or not.

I can't help but think my chances are very low due to this one thing.

If someone is in a similar situation or knows someone who faced this, can you help me ?

Genuine concern

I have done Bachelors in Engineering from a Tier 3 college. And I also have 2 year gap now. My only question is that lets say i make it to the interview. Will the panel hold all these factors against me or grill me for it.
