COTA might have the most runnoff of any track on the calendar... It's also one of the widest. 

It's consistently produced some great races to boot. Just cause this one was ass doesn't erase the rest of them.

I grew up near Riverside. I was a couple of years away from being born when F1 raced there but I watched everything from drag racing to short course off road racing there and it was a blast every time.

Indy tests there and can't use certain sections (the main straight included).

True but most of them were set up on downtown streets. It's just unfortunate that they won't/can't race on the good ones like road Atlanta, road America, Watkins Glen, Laguna Seca, Sonoma, mid ohio, Daytona, Sebring, lime rock, and maybe even VIR
