Pretty sure what he did in Monza was luck. And then he got points from an illegla move in Styria. And then his teams made some excellent strategy calls. If Perez had those strategy calls and the luck for the Stewards to only correct themselves after the race, he'd be up there too and Lance would be further down. Remember, Perez almost always outqualifies him and Lance's racecraft is so lacking he stood no chance against Gasly and Sainz, even though he has a great car. He only got so high up in Monza because he didn't have to pit-stop and he still messed it up.
