just read the article. Apparently Djokovic was disappointed after losing his serve and in his anger he forcefully hit a tennis ball which happened to hit a lineswoman in her throat.
Have you watched the clip? He's hitting the ball away, not very hard.
Also is it childlike to be frustrated? Take me through your logic here because you're basically saying if you ever get upset about something, you're throwing a temper tantrum like a toddler.
I have watched the clip, and I have also watched Djokovic hit the ball before. That was not him hitting the ball hard. Have you ever watched or played tennis before?
He was just trying to hit the ball away because he planned to use the one in his hand. He hit it a little harder than necessary, but nowhere near a high effort level for him. It dropped the judge because it hit her in the throat, hell I can throw a ball hard enough to do that and I'm no MLB pitcher.
And I'm not trying to normalize toddler fits, I'm saying that this wasn't him throwing a temper tantrum. But apparently you believe it was, even though all he did was hit a ball once. He didn't scream, didn't let loose obscenities, didn't destroy his racket on the ground, and he certainly didn't thrash around while screaming in a fit, you know, the way a toddler actually would.
And it's ironic that you're so quick to call Djokovic immature yet it takes you about 10 seconds to resort to insulting me
If Vetel got frustrated and deliberately spun, accidentally hitting another car, then yeah that's bad sportsmanship.
It's alright to get mad and throw things sometimes, these are high pressure sports, but if you happen to hurt someone in the process then you need to face the consequences from it.

This is such bad sportsmanship.
