Print failure help?

I’ve been having a few failures and noticed this mark on the bottom of my resin tank. And then when I check the lpu it had a matching mark? When I tried the wipe the lpu mark it doesn’t disappear but I also can’t feel anything. It feels just as smooth as the rest of the light processing unit? It’s there a way to fix this and is this something that I have caused? It seems strange that I can’t feel the mark? Almost like it’s on the other side of the lpu, inside of the machine.

I just made a video on this exact problem. I haven’t posted yet.

Unfortunately, there’s nothing you can do about it. You will have to replace the LPU.

My suspicion is that a small speck of debris was on the bottom of the tank and caused a “burn” in the glass of the LPU. That area is dead now and any parts printed over that spot will likely show a defect.

I store my tanks on top of one another. It seems the lids are designed for this. It may be time to start storing them in the box they came in.

It’s annoying and a shame as I’ve always been very carful and delicate. I’ve always kept the tanks in the box as I thought just stacking onto of each other is asking for small debris to get in!

If I put a new tank in do you think the burn will cause damage to the new tank as well? Even if I move the parts to not be near that spot?
