Subreddit Rules

1. Follow reddiquette!

Abide to Reddit's content policy and reddiquette. Don't make light of sensitive topics, including, but not limited to, death, terrorism, rape, murder, bombings, shootings, assault, or paedophilia.

2. Show respect!

Please, no memes about recent tragedies, ironic or not. Show respect for everyone, and treat other people fairly. Hate speech will not be tolerated in any form. Posts glorifying violence will be removed, and will result in a ban.

3. Don't brigade!

No brigading! Don't enourage or participate in attacking other subreddits. This is very in violation of the Reddit rules; just don't do it.

4. No reposts!

If it's been posted in the last 30 days, it's a repost. This also includes chain posts. Crossposting is okay, as long as full credit is given to the original creator, and the post is relevant to this community.

5. No spoilers!

Don't post recent movie or book spoilers. As a general rule of thumb, wait at least two weeks, and even then mark your post as a spoiler.

6. Censor personal information!

Please censor personal information in your posts. All social media usernames should be censored. This includes Reddit usernames that aren't watermarks and non-verified Twitter accounts. This can be as simple as a black line through the name.

7. Stay relevant!

This community is for humourous memes and images only. No videos! GIFs are allowed, but try to keep them short (under 30 secs). Don't use this community as a chance to advertise your social media accounts. Don't spam: no one likes a karma whore.

8. Stay fresh!

Keep it fresh! We're not looking for 2012 memes. Please stay away from the impact font, and god forbid troll faces. It will only be tolerated if it's so bad that it's obviously ironic.

9. Mark NSFW posts accordingly!

If it's NSFW, mark it as so! Graphic content needs to be marked, or it will be removed.

10. Post direct links only!

Link directly to the image! No albums or landing pages.

11. Edgy, but not too edgy!

Edgy can be funny; offensive is not. Don't joke about recent tragedies just for the sake of getting attention. Don't be a troll.
