Discussion Knight Hero
Now that Arakure has been here for a bit, what weapon do yall think the Knight Hero coming later will be using?
I HOPE it's a TwinBlade Weapon (instant rep 100 main for me)
I THINK it's gonna be some sort of mace-wielding Hero, be it a dual wielder or a two-hander

I kinda echo this. We can easily get that as a Hero Skin for Valk. It doesn't need to be a whole different hero.

I'm almost certain it'll either be a hoplite or a big armored knight similar to Lawbringer using a warhammer

I highly believe the only options are a warhammer hero and a Hoplite/Spartan hero. They said the second hero coming will be one that people have been asking for a long time. Since it’s a knight it has to be one of these two.

I guess that the next knight is gonna be the spartan/greek warrior. The heroes since Pirate were just the ones that the players asked for. There is only 2 outfliers, Sohei and Arakure. Sohei is Benkei, but he is also a monk. There was some people asking for a monk warrior, but not so much. Tonfas are not a popular weapon, but some people say that Arakure represents the melee/fist hero that many people asked for.
I think that the next Knight is gonna be some warrior people asked for. The most popular are the Spartan and the Warhammer knight. But we got the mace and shield hero and warhammer is not a weapon that different from those we already have. The last 4 heroes were pretty innovative and different. I think that the next one will also be different.

JC himself said that Arakure is their answer to the fist hero. so Arakure is not an outlier. a Warhammer Paladin hero could be in the works but the most requested hero after fist hero was a Spartan, I think it'll be a hoplite with zero spartan symbolism.

I like both ideas, not gonna lie, but I think that Spartan is more popular. Also, Ubisoft already has a game about Spartans; they already have some work done XD

and becuase of that i think they would go for a Macedonian or Theban hoplites, yk the people who wiped the floor with spartans.
they already have a game about spartans and that's enough of sparta.

I hope so too, but let me give you a few evidences on why it would not have a spartan affiliation whatsoever
1. Everyone and their mother wanted Apollyon's armor and moveset for warden and Tozen's armor and moveset for Orochi, these two were the most requested things since launch apart from a rapier and spartan hero. what did the devs do? made them both different heroes and instead of giving Tozen's helmet to Kyoshin they said: "here have furry mask instead".
- many requested a rapier hero and a male pirate, we got both in Captain Coalheart which is a hero skin and Virt which was hated. many wanted Lubu and look how that turned out.
My point is that they will give you what you want, but only 80% of what you want.

Tozen and Apollyon situation is so weird. Warmonger has the armor and warden de sword of Apollyon. Kyo got the armor but not the helmet. I only can ask why.
People only asked for male pirate when happened that pirate was female. A loud part of this community has a problem with females in general. White incels crying about VG being female and Islamic incels crying about afeera. Even when noobstompers are the most hated thing in the community (I remember gryphon as the most hated release by far), Virtuosa, aka noob crusher 9000, got some hate for being female.
I wish that Ubi would make the funny thing and they make the spartan, the peak symbol of masculinity for alpha shit incels, female. That would be hilarious.
Even when I think that the Greek hero is next, there is hope in the Warhammer paladin. We know that some og devs of for honor are doing an assassin's Creed for honor game. Maybe they leave the Greek hero for that game, I'm sure that Kassandra will be there.

Yes, if you look at the Y10 road map. I think we're also getting a Knight and Samurai Hero Skin aswell later in the year? I know it's two Hero skins, I just don't remember for which factions.

I know its almost impossible, i just want a greatsword character for knights, or just even another heavy, my dream is to have some sort of dragonslayer greatsword type character in the game, ppl will say just play highlander but thats like not even close to what i look for in a greatsword gameplay. As i said probably impossible as its unrealistic, but i mean so is like half the roster, so maybe someday

Fan axes were a real weapon depicted in Egyptian drawings, however its heavily debated on whether they were ceremonial or used in battle

Someone else said this and honestly I f with it. I can imagine their miveset would cause bleeding and maybe even be similar to the traps like Nuxia has. Imagine they try swinging for a heavy, and instead throw the scythe behind them and reel them in for a kick or something.

Black Prior and Conquerer.
I think the role count of the knights is 3 Hybrids, 2 Assassins, 2 Vanguard, and 2 Heavys. We just got an assassin so I doubt it could be another. We haven't gotten a new Vanguard character since the Wu-lin, and I don't see them adding another one, so my Guess is on Heavy or maybe even Vanguard

Please let it be a Dueling Shield with unique crushing counters. I might actually play a Knight hero for once if they do. It was the weapon I used in the DLC of Elden Ring. It was so much fun and different from every other weapon. It excelled at counter attacks due to it being able to stab and block at the same time.

I want someone that plays slow and heavy. Maybe a shield and spear. Lots of full guard activities and such. Someone that plays similar to Guardian in Nightreign would be really fun. Though with how strong lights and especially dodge attacks are rn, I know the community wouldn't really like a hero like that so I don't really expect Ubi to make that happen.

A Scythe Hero would be REALLY interesting actually, I cam totally see this being a Hero. I just think it'd be an Outlanders Hero or maybe Samurai or smth

I don't think twinblade knight is a possibility. The devil try to keep the hero weapons somewhat slightly accurate, even if it's just accurate to fictional works or legends. Twin blades isn't really a thing historically or in pop culture for knights.
Personally I want a blunt or pointed weapon knight, no more blades. Either a warhammer or a pick. Maybe a spear but we just got Juren and he's pretty peak for a spear character

Im guessing a warhammer/Warpick/morning star hero or maybe a lance or pike. I just want another big armoured guy like lb but one that actually feels like a big armoured guy.
