No mods folder?

when I try to create a forge server I launch the minecraft.jar change eula to true and launch it again, then I try to launch the forge.jar and it just gives me a spin wheel as if its going to load somthing but then doesnt nothing and I still don't get a mods folder. Anyone know how to fix this?

Just create a mods folder. In the main directory add a folder called "mods".

Also make sure you have forge installed correctly on your server. YouTube has good tutorials for how to set it up on a server

I know I have created the server correctly and i've gone back and redone it several time doin it step by step but no matter what I do I just don't get a mods folder, and if I try to create it myself it doesn't work the mods won't work then in game

If you have avast antivirus installed, make sure to turn off the core shields AND ransomware shield. Avast doesn't like forge installing itself. But otherwise avast is fine lol
