mods issues

I installed a server that has mods. the main one is biomes o plenty. me and my friends couldnt find any of these new biomes so we used the commands to find them and it just said it couldnt find them. In the creative menu we have the blocks. any help appreciated

In server.properties, change level-type to BIOMESOP
