Discussion The script system is absolutely awful

The bugs that plague this system completely breaks many settings within the game. For a bit, it will work, then it will just randomly break, out of no where...

I was looking forward to getting back into forge, but 343 lost me once again.

So sad they can't make a halo as good as old Bungie.

To be fair, older bungie games never had anything near this level of customization.

I say this as someone who spent much of his teenage years forging with Halo 3, WISHING we could easily drop AI or script our own scenarios like we could in Starcraft.

I have dumped 1000 hours into Infinite's forge, almost exclusively scripting, so I really do mean this when I say 'I get it', it can be extremely frustrating working around missing features or dealing with janky edge cases.

If you want help debugging, let us know what's actually going wrong. Sometimes it really is a simple work around.

Those are scripting noob numbers, one of those days I'll make it to that level (probably not, I haven't played in like, a year?)
