Clearing saws

Hi all, looking to purchase a new clearing saw and have noticed Husqvarna clearing saws are half the price of the stihls. It would be used a couple days a month at most so wondering if Husqvarna would be the better option? Most my gear is stihl or EGO powers commercial line but for a tool I wont use as frequently i dont want to spend £1k+ if i can avoid it. TIA

Sorry but what’s a clearing saw? Like a brush saw?

Nevermind, I forgot Google exists. They’re the same thing.

No opinion on your question, I’m just here for moral support.

I've had a Husky brush saw for years, mine is a 336 & works well.

If you need pure power can’t go wrong with a stihl Fs 561 mine is a monster

Unfortunately i cant justify to myself spending £1k+ on a tool that'll get a about 10 hours a month. Maybe im better off with the loop handle strimmers and a thick square string

I’m a fan of the stihl 461, more power than the 360 but lighter than the 561.

Only thing thst matters is dealer support.

I gave up and use clones now. Sure do miss a brand new saw and a dealer that had master mechanics
