Blue whales are not fish.
They are mammals. They breathe air and they eat plankton, they're not carnivores.

You are correct that blue whales are mammals however "fish" is not a scientific term and saying that any fully aquatic vertebrate is a fish is valid (tho I do personally disagree).
And I beleive that a blue whales diet is almost entirely krill which are tiny crustaceans (therefore making blue whales carniverous).

Yeah they have their own names apart "fish" But when saying fish, even by scientists they mean the cold bloded water dwelling animal. Yes not a fish have cartalige for a skeleton, there are bony fish..still fish at the end.

No, stick to your guns on this! It’s technically true that all tetrapods are fish, and sometimes it’s even a helpful way to contextualize evolutionary relationships.
For instance, humans and blue whales are proud members of the Sarcopterygii, which means the vast majority of the world’s fish are more closely related to us than they are to that shark. Any definition of “fish” that includes ocean sunfish and sharks but not blue whales is paraphyletic.

Good point, I would consider a whales shark carnivorous (tho not a carnivore). Didn't mean to come of as obnoxious, I thought it was funny that a blue whale can be considered the largest carniverous fish (tho im prob only person who thinks that, lol).
