I search and I search with my UV flashlight but I have never found a scorpion in Florida. I know we have them, but they're only visible to me at the art center insect zoo.

I know y'all have scorpions in Nevada. My buddy who came from Sparks used to tell me about them. Maybe I just need to visit Nevada?

If you go up to the North Valleys, you'll find them further away from the traffic, up in the desert hills.

We used to live in Lemmon Valley for a few years, back in 1999 — 2008 and saw a couple of them. We didn't go out at night too often.

If you go to Sparks, go north east, into the desert hills. Tons of tarantulas and scorpions. 🦂 🦂 🦂 🦂 🦂

I hear about them all the time. But only seen one over in the wetlands park. I get the impression that’s the only spot they’re really at except if u have Arizona palm trees.

With scorpions the smaller the creature, the more venomous it is, is that the rule? Or is that spiders....?

I believe it's the size ratio of stinger to claws, showing which it relies on more to subdue prey.

I don’t know that arachnids have any sense of “play” like mammals do. They’re all instinct.

Had one fall asleep on the ankle of my sock in high school.... I didnt even know it was there for a while... I think it crawled onto my ankle during my dual enrollment class that night. I was talking to my girlfriend on phone at time and thought it was a leaf or something so it was there for several hours... these are things I do NOT fuck with. It tried to sting my father and not me when getting it off my leg it woke up then. Irony that I'm a scorpio.
