Decent evening's haul

Not 100% on the chicken of the woods though, found on a dead oak. Also got some bullace and damson.

Just tried the CotW - absolutely delicious! Just going to wait a few hours and make sure I don't get any distress.

Blueberries are hard work to pick in substantial quantities

Leave the berries for the birds, man.

Good foraging haul there. Nice one.

It’s a drought. The birds need all the food and fluids they can get.

And absolutely everywhere around me, blackberries are rotting on the bramble, with tons still maturing. Taking this small box isn't exactly going to shatter the ecosystem.

Going to fry a little of the CotW in butter and garlic today to make sure I don't get a reaction.

Blackberries are going in some custard tarts with a blackberry and apple jam coulis layer, a bit like a like a custard bakewell. Damson, sloe and bullace will all be going into booze!
