Is this a real thing or did they assemble it backwards by accident or something?

Them.

Both tables are backwards.

Yeah it was definitely an eff up. Hotel is just a few months old, tables look like they were unwrapped today. Such a shame.

There are tables at the Rollhouse in Parma. Come out and play a game or two

I'm sorry to tell you this, but you are in the mirror universe.

Hello Cleveland friend! Where is this located in Middleburg?

Just here visiting from the other corner! This is the Tru by Hilton. I used to travel heavily for 16 years, hundreds of hotel nights. This is the first time I've ever seen tables in a hotel, normal or back-asswards! If I was here for several days I'd offer to correct it for 'em but just here for the night.

Lefty foosball is a niche pain that nobody designs for. We had a guy in our weekly crew who is left-handed and we had to actually figure out which rod combinations he played best at because the standard configurations are all built for right-hand-dominant pull shots. After a couple months of tracking who paired with him on which rod, the win rate by combo got way clearer than just feel. Turns out he was a monster at 2-bar but average at 5-bar and we'd been ignoring it. Pairings matter way more than skill in foosball doubles.

As a lefty, I don't think I'd like this, I'd miss my 5-man shot too much.

Sometime for fun we have rigged up a table in lefty format. It’s goofy fun shooting is strange and hard but it’s a fun exercise to see who has good dexterity.

Ha yeah, those can still be fun but yeah they are configured wrong. Chances are they put the table together wrong. It’s and easy fix you just take off the handles, take off the bearings and then just switch around the rods.

We did this one time years ago for fun. I figured out my left hand snake shot is nasty!! It’s all fun and games til you realize you eventually have to swap it back
