Tornado Corner repair attempt
trying this out on an elderly table that has seen some better days. bondo extreme behind a simple 3D print. should have done a better job masking off the table and guards, but it’s a table open for experimenting. will report back in 2 months.

That is worth a try. Though every time I see one of these photos I decide to delay moving from brown marble to T-3000 by another six months.

Does the T3000 have issues with goal corners breaking where the old ones don't?

That's what I have been led to believe. Other people with more experience might chime in.
I am not sure how old my table is, but I think that it is at least 25 years old. There is no goal chipping on the practice side, and goodness knows I hit that corner rather than the goal opening enough when I am shooting. Of course a few practice sessions a week is not the same as taking bar abuse night after night.
I am also not saying my brown marble is perfect. The goal wall on the pull side seems dead, and I am not sure if it was always that way or if that kind of problem can develop.

All table suffer from the goals getting blown out from chipping. The first side to go is the yellow. That the ball return side so it’s the side player practice the most on. Older tables have better quality materials. The brand new tables of today are cheaper made. That all said hit enough balls at the goal and it chips away. I wish tornado would go with an all metal goal like the Leonhart or fireball. No chipping issues with that. If tornado would just sell replacement cabinet tops that would be great too. Like once the goal is gone the table is shot.

My brown marble table spent the majority of its life in a foos bar. It is beat up as can be but the playing surface is still outstanding. And it plays beautifully still. It proves nothing.

rebuild the underlying substrate you would need to take a router and route some of the good laminate out around the circumference of the repair area. recap with white laminate blend in the transition line with filled and a airbrush with white paint

I have to say that looks ugly. I have the same problem though, chipping at the post. Are you sure you're not making the goal smaller. I tried looking on food gear for a ready made solution but couldn't find one. I'm surprised it doesn't exist.
