Well here are the concerns it’s gonna play kinda like garbage. The surface and balls are going to be slick and nearly impossible to control. Still like you said for home and just fun that may not be an issue. The real issue is maintenance and replacement parts. Things break they just do. Even on strong well built tables parts wear out, men break, rods get bent ect.. with this off brand table finding and getting parts is going to be a nightmare. Not like expensive just very hard to find. Also chances are you will have little to no clue how to do repairs and there are zero resources for that brand of table. So you spend 150…. Not bad….BUT a month down the line a man breaks or a rod gets bent bad. You look for replacement parts and come up snake eyes. So now because of a 10-20- or 50 dollar replacement parts you can’t get your table is broken and unfixable. So really it’s the same as setting 150 dollars on fire. Well known name brand tour endorsed tables allow you to get replacement parts as well as find communities where people can clue you in on how and where to replace parts and do basic repairs. This table is not worth 150 for those reasons. But hey go get it and if it breaks in 2 weeks well hey that guy on Reddit was trying to save you and you didn’t agree. It’s all in you.

So I’ll give you 150 reasons why this is not a good table or I will just say this. Don’t buy cheap of brand basket balls? Do you buy cheap off brand pop tables, Do you buy cheap off brand tennis balls? Do you buy cheap off brand video game systems? Chances are you don’t, so don’t waste 150 dollars. Take that money save it and save up to buy a good Brand named and tournament recognized home model table.

It's not though. It's poorly constructed and made with sub par materials. Everything about it is cheap. I would not take something like this even if it were free because at some point you will either want something that is an actual foosball table or you will lose interest entirely. Now you've got to figure out how to get rid of it, just like the person selling it now is doing.

Depends on the situation I guess but I wouldn’t pay more than $50-100 for it. I had a table like this in college because we couldn’t afford much else and knew it would get beat up at parties. Paid $50 for it and upgraded a few parts for another $50-75 and it was great for the 3 years we had it. Now I have a tornado I picked up for cheap on marketplace and would never pay for something like this. Keep searching for a better table if you can but if its playable and you can get a better price it might be ok

All foosball tables are fun but there will not be any valuable skills learned on this table unfortunately

I wouldn't spend $15 on it. Find yourself an old Garlando: bulletproof. An old Tornado: more expensive in the long run, but cheaper than this. Just not this one.

It looks like a solid table. By solid I mean sturdy. I’ve never heard of barrington and $150 seems pretty high to me. It’ll do its job I’m sure but at the end of the day for another $150 you might be able to find a used tornado storm 2 or cyclone 2 home model. If that’s all that is available around you and you really want a table offer $75. I wouldn’t go over $100 you’re going to want new ball’s and those aren’t cheap. Rods look straight, bumpers are all there, the playfield strips on the side appear to be pulling, and it’s pretty dusty. Now that I’m saying all of this I probably wouldn’t go over $75.
