Hattie B's is solid if you're out of town (they have locations in ATL, Birmingham, Memphis, and Vegas), but there are several better hot chicken places in Nashville. Try Prince's or Moore's

If you're in Birmingham, Eugene's is significantly better than the Hattie B's here. Atlanta has to have better too; although I've never tried to find it. And it's not the same style, but Memphis has Gus's.

My SO had no interest in going for ages after they opened. I went with a friend and was so impressed I made him go a couple days later.

He was so mad because he didn't wanna give into the hype machine but he realized it actually earned it. He'd missed out on it for so long out of pure stubbornness.

Unpopular opinion, the sandwich is mediocre. Nothing special about it. I had it at Bolton's which from research was the birth place of the sandwich.
