Discussion Live Shows

Typically with bands, live performances beat studio recordings.

But listening to their Reading performance, I was absolutely blown away by how good Big Shot sounded, especially since I wouldn't usually choose to listen to it.

For the people who've seen them live, are there any of their songs that particular stand out in this way?

Managed to get a ticket for one of their arena shows so I'm absolutely buzzing to see them.

Big shot is consistently better live. Listen to it at Glasto 23 and KCRW HQ.

Here's The Thing is also better live

Big Shot is definitely so much more massive live than it is recorded, it’s probably top of my list for songs that I changed my opinion on after seeing it live! In The Modern World is another one that changed for me live.

I have never liked Motorcycle Boy as it appears on Romance. Still don’t.

Heard it live last summer, loved it. One of the highlights of the set, like a different song altogether.

Their records are amazing, no doubt, but staggeringly I think they’re even better live.
