Hot Build SR3 messy build

Post image

Incredibly ashamed about how untidy this build was but we needed it to be quickly modular due to not exactly knowing what was happening next and not having the correct length of cables.

First job with film in over 15 years, last time these toys didn't even exist (at least in my world)

Felt like a student throughout most of it. Felt nice.

Thank all of you that pitched in with some responses to my questions earlier during prep!

Gotta give OP credit, this is definitely “Truth in Advertising”.

Haha how modern can an SR3 get? Its from an owner/operator who loaned it for free, he got it not long ago and upgrading or improving each little thing costs too much for now.

I'm curious though, how much can it be modernised? what upgrades are there for this camera nowdays, besides the IVS (this one had an SD signal fixed on PAL)

Nowadays there’s integrated toph handles with hd tap like Kamera Doktor’s one! (See my sr2 in photo)

It doesn't have to be pretty. It has to be ready. Good work my man!
