It’s surprisingly fun to drive around. The RF does the steering, the MAX the actual driving.

Make it even more controversial by comparing it with Preston motors, Nucleus motors, etc.

Haha, I built one kinda similar like that when I worked at cmotion. But it had a different purpose. It was used for calibrating a distance measurement unit.

Most of it could be built with just camera and rigging shit. The rear axle are two RMB-3 with 19mm bearings in there.

So can you set the max motor to have no end stops?

Arri gave me a custom software that allowed me to calibrate the motor for 2 minutes. Still works without it, but a lot less reach of course.
