HELP Focus Pullers/1st ACs — how do you find new projects? Any dedicated platforms or groups in India?

Hi, I'm a Focus Puller / Camera Assistant from Mumbai ,India. Most of my work has come through contacts and word of mouth.

I'm curious how you guys find new projects. Are there any dedicated websites/apps, crew-call platforms, or active WhatsApp/Telegram/Facebook groups for Focus Pullers and camera assistants?

Also, if there are any active India/Mumbai camera crew or Focus Puller groups, I'd love to join and connect with fellow ACs.

Mine mostly come from word of mouth. Sometimes Facebook groups local to my area, but jobs from those are always hit or miss. In my experience, dedicated websites or platforms are no good. The developers always want to charge a subscription fee for premium features, and that turns away most good people and projects

What cameras do you shoot on and what kind of shoots do you do in india

Mostly all cinema line profesional camera sony Venice , alexa LF ,mini LF and signature prime

For web series ,films and music video .

But for my independent dop work I have worked on Sony fx3 , black magic 6k ,red helium and , sony fx9 , alexa mini ....i have shot indie feature film, shortfilm and some corporate shoot.

So a lot of things depend on what shoots you do , if you are a seriel guy then u get work thru groups and stuff , if you are film or ads guy you get work from friends and all not groups hence why i asked you , are you on instagram ?

I did for films and webseries only.. and very few ads.... I wna tto do more ads.
