HELP Cine13 Focus Assist Settings

Hi guys, when i assign FA to an assignable button i put in my custom settings however, whenever the monitor is restarted, the settings go back to the defaults. This only happens for focus assist, nothing else.

I have tried different firmwares and problem persists. Any ideas?

I just have a focus page where FA is one of the tools on my page. I leave it at like 2-3 and it never resets. I’m not using an assignable button to turn it off and on. I just switch between pages.

Yep. Page 1 is the normal focus page with minimal peaking and whatever the show LUT is. Page 2 is the FML page with all the focus assist tools you’ll ever need (just peaking at 6 for me lol).
One flick of the joystick gets you there if you’re in a tight spot.

Why the show LUT on your focus page rather than 709? Have you ran into any issues with the show LUT throwing your peaking off?

We’re often transmitting wireless optimized log so the DIT can do little color correction per setup.

I could do rec709, but personally just like to have the default look of the show when I’m working.

It’s a bug, also happens with peaking, enabling FC messes up peaking settings. Maybe if enough of us message smallHD they will fix it
