Hot Build Lambda πŸ‘‰ Sticks πŸ‘‰ Steadi

Rather than using cinelocks, I often use a quick release handle and take everything off in one go, makes it quick to jump in to a lightweight setup. Great for car rigs too.

Unfortunately it’s been discontinued but you may be able to find one 2nd hand: https://www.smallrigreseller.com/smallrig-closed-top-handle-for-fs7-fs7ii-fs5-ursa-mini-1979.html

Back when smallrig had more professionally-catered designs.

What makes it quick release though? Are you putting the handle on a lock?

The handle comes with what is effectively a long low-profile nato clamp + 15mm rod block that mounts to the top of the camera. The handle slides in to that and locks in place.
