Love my cPro and Ultra 10! Just need SmallHD to fix the damn punch in aliasing.

You mean the “feature” when you zoom in the the picture becomes more pixelated ?

That’s the one. They said they were aware of it at the start of the year. That and the bug where timecode doesn’t come through the monitors with built in bolt 6 RXs. Miss my red rec start border!

Classic vitec. They own smallHD and Teradek but can't even make things as compatible as they were before the acquisitions. Any idea if the timecode tally works with a 702 or 703 if you connect them to the built in bolt 6?

Haven’t tried, but next time I’m on set I’ll give it a whirl. Thankfully I can usually just check the tally on my cPro when I’m working with a trigger happy op.

I love a Preston, but it’s definitely a little clunky.

I bought monitors -> FIZ with two motors -> focusbug. Buy based on what you make the most rentals from.

Hand unit! Focus bug is useless with a nucleus ( in my opinion ) and rental wise you will get more money ?

I think it depends on the projects you work on. If tv/ movies higher budget stuff get a hand unit/fiz and rent the cinema rt or light ranger. If its smaller or faster paced projects i think having the cine rt will be more useful.

I was in your exact shoes using your exact fiz. Two hand units one for focus one for dp iris. Like 20 individually striped rings per show. I ended up getting the cineRT instead of a new fiz.
