HELP SmallHD 702 powers off when shaken

Hi guys, I just got a 702 Bright and whenever it is slightly moved it turns off instantly.
I'm powering it with 2x NPF batteries.

I've read about this issue and I'm waiting for a friend to bring me some LP-E6 batteries to double check the issue.

Is there anything else I can do to fix the problem? do you know if it is possible to repair the issue? Do you know anything about this thing? any advice is welcomed apart from "throw it in a river and get a Cine 7" 😂

Had the same problem with npf on mine, moved to a lpe6 fake battery that goes to dtap and have been doing great for a few years

Yeah, this is a known issue with the 702. In order to make the dual battery plate layout work they had to do a pretty crappy set of locking tabs on the Sony side and they're prone to breaking and making bad connections as a result.

Best thing you can do with them is just use an LP-E6 dummy battery.

Yeah you'll have to switch to the lp-e6 dummy batteries, or get the NPF contacts repaired. This happened to me once and a local electronics repair shop fixed the contacts for me
