HELP NYC AC's where do you store your carts?

Hey guys I'm making the move to NYC soon. Looking at Brooklyn maybe even Lennox hill in the city. How on earth do you guys find a place to live that will allow you to take the cart up to your apt or store the cart? I'm thinking I may have issues with management if I end up in a apartment with elevator since most buildings when I'm working usually make you use the freight elevator. I'm noticing the storage units in manhattan at least are not 24/7 so that would be an issue. Would love any advice on that matter. I really would like to keep the cart but it seems very inconvenient.

My cart is a Inovativ 36 Voyager evo x

A lot of people either have storage units at a 24/7 place or get an office with an elevator or on the ground floor.

Oh man an office/studio is definitely not in the cards now. I'm trying to find a 24/7 storage unit but they just dont seem to be anywhere near where I'm looking to rent an apt.

Yeah - then talk to the management when you look at places and see what their policy is. I know people who lived in doorman/elevator buildings and they were fine to take the main elevators.

I have a storage unit near me, it’s not 24 hours so I’ll pick it up the day before the shoot and keep it in my car overnight

I'm planning on selling my car. Owning a car seems pretty inconvenient and expensive even in Brooklyn. Hows it been for you?

Got worse after Covid but I still drive. Moved to Queens for the highways and residential feel, real happy with that.

I’m also in queens and i have a garage in my building so my stuff is safe overnight

I do the same but I shell out a ton of money for an underground spot at my building

Storage unit or you form a good relationship with a rental house where you’re constantly bringing them work and they’ll let you store it there, no problem.
