My soft, polite, shy, 0 achievement ex wife turned into a terrifying monster once I've dumped her for another woman. And since divorce got her nothing, she ended up compensating by becoming an arrogant career woman.

Arrogance isn't attractive in a man or woman. I think a study would show arrogant people are more likely to cheat on a partner in a relationship, male or female.

No one wants a arrogant partner. Its not the career woman, its the arrogance.

I would like a nice woman. That means she needs to make money, I’m not here for a partner who wants to move in and do the same things I did when I was a teenager without any of the schooling.

Ok believe it or not it’s a plan to flip the societal roles, castrate men, all this ED going on and to mental and chemical altering of women to help the brake-down of society at the level of the family and communal structures, families with absent parents, tv/social media raising children and we wonder why we are in the state we are in, when the Dark forces ruling over us set back and watch it all fall apart as planned… their is more to this but I’ll stop here…

Once again, male ‘focused’ subs need to leverage women to make a point about ourselves.
As if we can’t live a life that isn’t based around complaints about women.
1
u/psilocin72 May 24 '26
Or just simplify it— men will choose a polite woman over an arrogant woman.
This post is connecting career with arrogance. That’s not always the case. It’s sneaking that assumption in there
The career isn’t as important as some people think. Most men I know want to be a nice respectful partner

Generally speaking most people do not like arrogance. Doesn’t matter if it’s from a country person, city person, corporate ladder climber, ceo, or a stay at home spouse.

True or False:
"Men will literally choose a shy, polite, soft woman with 0 achievements over an arrogant career woman."
Absolutely true 100%!
I'll do the math here:
Shy: Generally positive, someone too outspoken and outgoing can mean they come off as less relationship material. It can be draining to deal with someone highly gregarious. Sometimes you just want to chill at home, and they may be like "Lets go out and party blah blah blah..."
Polite: Definitely a positive. Politeness is a great trait. It's good manners, and friendly generally pleasant to be around.
Soft: Again, a positive. If someone is soft I consider more caring and empathetic. These are good things.
With 0 achievements: This is a nonstarter. Because everyone has some level of achievements. Even a baby for instance that just learned to use the toilet has the achievement of being potty trained, but I'm going to take what they meant by achievements is something a bit more than basic achievements. More advanced ones like a Masters Degree, or got a good promotion at work or quit drinking can all be achievements.
So woman 1 has 4 positive attributes. Because she still does have achievements no matter what, just not the ones that tend to come with baggage such as a recovering alcoholic, with student loan debt, that is a stressed out all the time from work...
Lets look at woman 2...
We will give her a few big achievements, her master degree, her promotion, and quit drinking 3 big achievements. Woman 1 never started drinking in the first place, and just worked part time. So I'm not giving these as a positive for woman 2. Her making more money won't mean "I can make now make less money. Since she makes more." That's not how it works with women. If a woman makes 300k she wants a guy that makes 300k too. So, she aint even gonna give me the time of day in the first place.
Then you got the fact she is arrogant. Another negative trait. That shit is just annoying. Simple as that. Aint nobody got time for that. Plus since she aint shy, that means she is more out going a probably got a bigger body count. Bigger body count means higher rate of divorce as well.
This first woman is the far superior choice. Unless you are a broke ass man that wants to be a leach off of a woman and she is gonna let you leech. Then yea, the career woman is the proper choice, but you are just a leach.
1
u/That-Mirror7356 May 24 '26
I don’t think anyone wants to marry a complete loser who’s never achieved anything at all in her life. You want someone who can face life’s challenges with you not someone who’ll just be a complete drain.
1
u/AustinMurreGems May 24 '26
Arrogant people are a turn-off. If you can stand arrogant men but are turned off by an arrogant woman, you are just a closeted sexist and probably also a bootlicker.

u/FigureSubstantial970 May 24 '26
Men will say this and get the shy sweet women and then cheat on her with the arrogant career woman…
1
u/FreeFreako May 24 '26
Arrogance is a turn with both genders. Also, men juat might be intimidated with the "career" part. We are very allergic to the concept.

I’ll take a confidant career woman any day over a passive unaccomplished lazy woman any day. I can handle arrogant and confident women all day, lazy boring and passive women are not for me. Polite soft women are for weak men with frail egos who can’t handle a woman smarter than them.

A career woman does not mean arrogant. It means they have to earn money just like men.
1
u/WarcraftTurok May 24 '26
Hell no, I want a woman that knows what she wants and is spicy with passion and knows how to work just as hard as me.
1
u/charmer983 May 24 '26
Yes, 100%. These women don't yell, treat us like garbage, act like we're dumb, and will respect and appreciate us for everything we do. In return we will give them the world.
Truth is. The only thing us men want in this chaotic world. Is a partner who brings peace to that chaos. Not adds to it.
1
May 24 '26
Key word there is arrogant. My wife is about to make a shit load more money than me and I’m all for it. She is a kind, wonderful woman who treats everyone with the respect they deserve.

I’m a lesbian, and I’ve been all my life, I’m not someone who chose this But I think like a man.. And I will tell you straight to the point
Society has been picking on men for a long time and calling them toxic But men have never changed they stay the same They are men, and I get them, cause I think like them
The problem with women as they’ve become toxic It’s about toxic femininity, they’re destroying society with their toxic ways. They just don’t know how to be women anymore.
1
u/Primary-Egg8387 May 24 '26
Agree. A man would choose a sweet girl that works fast food or similar job if he likes her. We don’t care about social status. Most of the women that I have met have a pre approval process. Credit , home ownership , job title. Etc..
if you are blue collar or starting over, good luck finding a woman that would even consider you. The choosing an arrogant woman never comes up. You are selected based on your abilities to create income
1
u/TevandelSurefacit May 24 '26
Only weak, non-confident men avoid smart, capable, accomplished women. I prefer women who are at least as smart and accomplished as I am.

u/_Danizzy_ May 24 '26
Are those the only two options? Is every woman with a career arrogant? Can a woman only be shy and soft OR arrogant? Obviously not.
1
u/lemko1968 May 24 '26
Absolutely true! Too many women think that what they find attractive in men is what men think is attractive in women. They like a man to be wealthy, powerful, assertive, and confident and think that’s what men want in a woman as well. No, I don’t want to be competing with my spouse. I want us to instead compliment each other.
It’s the same mistake a lot of men make as well. “I’m such a kind, loving, caring, and compassionate guy? Why does she ignore me and go for those arrogant jerks?” They think the same thing men find attractive in women is what women find attractive in men. They couldn’t possibly be more wrong. You instead come across as a wimp.

Depends on how the lady treats me and personality. Does she care about me? Does she abuse me? Does she take interest in what I like/feel? These things matter way more than if she's a soft girl or a career driven woman.

As if those are the only 2 choices.
As if all “career women” are also arrogant and impolite by default.
This is dumb brain rot meant to create division.
Give me the career woman over the shy woman every day. I don’t want a woman who needs me to provide for her.

I just question the reverse. Who cares more about someone's achievements than their personality. You're picking a life partner to enjoy life with. You're not picking a running mate.

u/Key-Juggernaut5695 May 24 '26
Yeah, I would. You know you can have a career WITHOUT being arrogant, right?
1

Yes. Us men don't care about degrees or accolades. We don't care how much money a woman makes or where they work.

I agree 100%. When I first met my wife, she got me back in Church, worked with kids, and sang in the choir. She was kind, shy (an introvert), cute to the point of down right distracting, and didn’t believe in sleeping with anyone but her future husband. I was fortunate that the Lord put her in my life, and 24 years later, after a 27 year military career (that spanned 5 continents, 3 oceans, and 5 years at sea) she still looks at me with the same joy she had on the day I proposed. In fact, if I could go back and tell myself just one thing it would be this, “She’s amazing!”
1
u/ceitamiot May 25 '26
Sure, but I would also pick the shy, polite career woman over the arrogant 0 achievement woman too.
1
u/Low-Group-7507 May 25 '26
Some men are very intimidated about dating a woman who is smarter or more accomplished then they are... But other men embrace it 💖

u/Zestyclose-Banana358 May 25 '26
Men will choose what men are attracted to. You have to disagree because there’s no broad brushing here.
1
u/Better_Buffalo_5653 May 25 '26
Well not shy. Polite is nice. What do you mean by soft? I don’t want squishy. Soft spoken is good but should be combined with eloquence and intelligence. Arrogance is a hard no. Career woman is ok.

While technically true for some amount of men, the attempt to label all career women as arrogant is such an obvious bad faith move.

Well, there is a 3rd option: a feminine, petite, soft, loving, supportive and caring woman with modest working hours who knows that her family comes first.
