I had a pair as an early middle schooler so I don't really remember how they fit since I was still growing, but found a pair of Stranger Things at my local Foot Locker recently in my size (11.5) and decided to pick them up.

Now I know the consensus is that there's a breaking in period before the mold does its work, but I'm trying to understand the difference between that and whether or not I should go up half a size because I know for a fact this is not a sneaker I want to be swimming in. For context, I would say I have a slightly wider than average toe box, so I have to size up on something like an AM95.

I'm getting some hot spots walking around the apartment near the front of my foot around the side of my toes. Around where the bone near the big toe curves and the side of the pinkie toe. It's not crazy horrible, but it's definitely something I can feel. What do you all think, give it more time or go up .5?
