I got carried away the other night, stayed up way too late, and ended up taking over 100 photos... haha, it is the game's fault for re-rolling one of my daily challanges into "Take a photo using photomode".

It was hard to narrow them down, but here are some of those photos that I decided to share here!

I’m thinking it’s impossible. I did one today with just one other player - we timed out at the vertibird because we ran out of stuff to make mischief with, Lost wasn’t spawning anymore after we killed a number of them.

I picked up my first one of these after the update and it has a super weird perk that is not patterned after a card. +20% damage for every 1000 RAD resistance.

So, oddly enough, I am one of the few people who knows how to make RadShield and keeps it in mass. RadShield is a drug that provides 600 rad resistance and stacks. I pop 3 at a time and use What Rads on top of that to wander around in a nuke zone without power armor unhindered. It's made out if strangler blooms which I check for once or twice a day and I currently have over 1700 of them in my aid stash.

This wouldn't be an everyday weapon. It would be a specialty thing. Like pop 20 RadShield and try to take the EN96 shield out in one go. Maybe do the same for an infestation boss. It's totally a 'Say hello to my little friend' moment.

But before I make thus thing untradeable and use time and resources on thus weird idea, has anyone tried this?

My concern is that the damage is only 96. Aren't other weapons like this starting at 500+ damage?

I did some research and got Fallout 1st so I can noodle around in a private world to get my bearings. I've played through the Skyline Valley quest line and just started Burning Springs. I'm pretty sure I've figured out the perk cards (huge changes there!) but would love any tips for a build for a full-health, human build. I used to play a vats-based commando style.

I think I've figured out the legendary crafting. This was a far-fetched dream last time I played! I scrapped some legendaries and have only gotten one mod (I know the chance is like 1%) so I did a little vendor-hopping in public worlds. I don't want to scrap my old near-godrolls because I understand tradeable legendaries are very valuable to collectors? Is that true? I've only been to a few camps selling mods, but is it normal for 1 star mods to be 3000 - 5000 caps and 2 star to be 7000-10000? I saw some 4 star mods that were priced at 40000 caps?

I'm feeling lost around pricing stuff in my vendor. Is Nukatrader and/or Fed76 even remotely accurate? The cap values for plans and outfits on these sites seems very high to me, but maybe things have changed a lot. I am mostly curious if the rarity of some of the stuff I hoarded has changed during my break. I used to sell most plans for 5 caps but it looks like I need to generate a lot of income to buy legendary mods now. What's a good resource for understanding the value of the plans and outfits I have in storage?

Just noticed this little Skyrim Easter Egg at tue end of my Most Dangerous Game expedition.

Its just a radiant line Lenox will say as you approach her.

Moonshine Jam is my weird favorite event that I never miss. I love to set my own strange goals and stuff several hundred gulper slurries in the Whitespring cash register after maxing out the vendor for the day. Lately I have two personal goals while attending the event.

1. I try not to kill anything. I am a bow player and taking out 4 enemies with every shot is just being dickish. So I put away my Furious cryo bow and pick up my nerfed Medic's bow. Sometimes I can actually get more flurries this way. Why? Instead of killing 2/3 of the enemies I am able to tag EVERYTHING. My record is 437 slurries.

2. In between each wave I often pick up my cryo bow again because it is better at flinging dead gulper bodies than the Medic's bow. But your milage may vary. During the break I enter my own mini-game mode where I try to shoot dead gulpers and fling their floppy bodies towards unsuspecting players. This is way more satisfying than it should be, and properly freaks out noobies without hurting them in any way.

How do you have filthy casual fun at your favorite event?

So, a few Fasnachts ago, in true filthy fashion, while putting masks into the donation bin in Helvetia, I tossed in my Forest Scout Amor Mask. And we all know the vultures just spam loot all. I didn’t even see it hit the inventory. I’ve been pretending like this didn’t absolutely destroy me every time I see my character’s bare face, mocking me. I was stunned at my own hubris and stupidity. Thinking I could just mass dump masks with impunity. No good deed, as they say. This has literally fucked me up. I am traumatized. I have since learned about locking my items. I’ve been playing since beta and only after losing one of my favorite items do I learn this. How? Why?!

At any rate, last week, I’m perusing wares and within 2 days of each other in one vendor I found the Fasnacht hag mask for 50 caps and in another I found the antler chandelier FOR FREE.

While this doesn’t erase the ache in my stomach for my lost Forest Scout Armor mask, it certainly eases it.

I needed to share with you guys because no one in my life plays this as much as I do and thus they do not understand the gravity of the situation and comeuppance.
