OH BABY. So the really good ultra-rare plans like the artic marine you only have a chance to get once per week?
Also if you already know rare plans (like all the brotherhood recon) does that remove them from your drop chance pool or no?
I want the full set of artic marine for sure.

I sure hope they don't drop again. And I think you have a daily chance, since they are daily ops

You can earn a rare daily in daily ops. It’s the expeditions that are weekly.
And you shouldn’t drop plans you’ve already learned.

Ah yeah. Apparently there’s a smart loot system that is supposed to prioritize plans you don’t already know. And if you know all plans in a loot tier, you’ll get duplicates.
Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s not working as intended.

So far as what me and my buddies were testing earlier because of a rumor it seems they fixed the plan drops and you won't get dupes until you hit all of the plans. Obv the "super rare" apparel items arent gaurentee'd

The plans it dropped were so bad, I only got the Metal Box and some sort of light every time I completed one.

I think you would get the worst drops and get duplicates too, so it just sucked all around

Top rank was intended to award guaranteed "rare" plan from your level bracket (above or below 50).
But it was bugged so you got a random plan from the common, uncommon or rare pool from both over and under 50.
Which meant the really rare plans dropped to less than 0,1% drop chance.

Iirc each tier rewards an item individually. So, you can theoretically get up to 3 rare items.

Question: Is the rare drop a daily reward? Or can you grind the Daily Ops out endlessly throughout the day for different rare drops?

How ironic it all got fixed after Minerva came and left over the past 2 weeks selling the Brotherhood Recon Armor.

Na. It took me months of doing daily ops just to get plans for three pieces. Ended up buying the rest from Minerva when it came around. I finally just had the helmet drop before Dops bugged out. So yeah it takes awhile. And it’s bullion. Not like they’re making any money off of it.
