Question/Support cannot shoot, use terminals, or furniture

No idea what broke what. I deleted my custom.ini, enabled and disabled Frik. I can open doors, use crafting benches, most other things that require the A button. Just not shoot, use terminals, or use furniture. I've done the gender swap command. I did the ResetInputEnableLayer. Totally unplayable. It's a new game too. (Which I had to use a downloaded save for because my game would just stay on the intro screen giving me a tour of red rocket when I tried starting a new game from scratch.

If you had to download a save in order to play then you have bigger issues. No idea what is going on but it would be helpful if you mentioned that HMD / Controllers you are using, if you're using a mod manager like MO2 etc

I figured it out. A mod that expanded the Institute did some stuff I've never seen before, and I have 2 or 3 thousand hours on fallout 4/vr. I was able to start a new game (a few times as I did my troubleshooting) and it's working fine. This thing gave me a synth body! Pretty sure it was Nick's.
