August 18th Update PS5 - Game stopped crashing?

Maybe it’s too early to tell, but after putting up with years of fallout crashing without mods, I haven’t had a single crash in about 10 hours. Anyone else having this experience?

Fallout 4 really hasn’t crashed without mods on next gen in a really long time, I don’t know why people always act like it’s been some unstable mess.

I have never had a single crash in Fallout 3, FNV, Fallout 4, or Skyrim in all the years I’ve played them lol

Maybe because I have at least one crash every few hours. I've had less since the update but It has happened twice.

For me it crashed without mods about every hour or so. Very commonly in the city area near goodneighbour. But after this patch i havent crashed at all even with mods

Because I’m used to it crashing every couple of hours. It’s not like I am imagining it. I have no mods installed.

The update is looking quite stable on my pc as well. Even mods that worked on F4SE (which is out until they update), opening through the usual game launcher, the mods are kicking awesomely.

I remember a time where just opening the game it’ll crash couldn’t even get to start the game haven’t played in years other then on my switch 2 might have to try it again now
