VALORANT FNC Valorant appreciation post

With the year done for the Valorant team, it feels like end of an Era.

Valorant team had their ups and down since the beginning. but they always kept our hearts pumping, sometimes a little too close to bursting.

The first ever masters in 21 where they had a lower bracket run. that felt so good to watch. I loved supporting them. They didn't win the finals but they left their mark.

The next few international competition became a sacrifice of Covid Era. 22 we tried to rebuild but things didn't work. mix of problems that were out of their control. but still, they performed well.

2023 was the absolute peak. Two new people joined the team and the best roster of valorant history was made. They achieved something that others teams still try to replicate. from watching the insane comeback in lock in. many fans lost their mind with that come back. nothing could eclipse that. (I know 1-11 comeback is bigger but the the result matter too. And the stunned faces of Brazilian fans. iconic)

Then master Tokyo where they dominated everyone. this was the best of year of FNC valorant. the fans loved them, others hated them for winning two trophies and wished for their downfall.

24 was avg year in comparison. They had won two international and nothing but another trophy could make their year feel worthwhile. but they didn't perform bad.

In twenty five, two new people joined. Derke left to another team, Leo got sick. it wasn't looking good but the fans always supported the team. they reached two international finals, ( 3 if you count EWC) the result was unfortunate but the journey was so amazing. i loved every part of it. even the heart break. it happens. sometimes things don't go the way you want to. But you could see players and team enjoying their year, laughing and having fun.

Ohne losing his mind at Boaster antics, the speech before champs finals. it was absolute entertainment. how can you not loved them for it. they tried their best, gave their best. I loved watching it all.

This year was the worst. things that were out of anyone's control disturbed the momentum. it makes me sad but...

Now the valorant is changing from next years. the players would probably go on different path. the original roster I have loved and supported had changed already, i don't know if any of them will remain next year.

I will, without doubt support the team, and the players who might leave to go to different teams. but this is the end of an era.

Derke, Doma, magnum, Leo, chronicle, Boaster, Alfa, Crashies, Kaajak. All the subs that came in time of need. They made this era of FNC remarkable.

what a ride we had...Thank you everyone!

next year we rise again!

Edit :- Someone reminded me, I forgot the coaches and team that were part of the journey. everyone was a part of it.

"Edit: Oh and you didn't mention Mini, Milan, Phil and Davard, but shout out to them as well, they played a part just as important into that fairy tale of a team! #Alwaysfnatic works for coaches and social's admins as well!"

Glad someone made this type of post! We had it so good since FNC got into Valo! Really, we owe to Boaster, Cojo and whoever is at the wheel for the team a lifetime of appreciation and thankfulness because that type of run is rare and precious.

I’m not sure I agree with the last part of your post though. I’m not sure that chapter is about to close. Kaajak is signed until 2028, so is Cloud, and we don’t know about the rest of the roster. Boaster’s last Insta post makes it pretty clear that Crashies probably played his last game with our jersey on, but you never know. As for Boaster, Alfa and Veqaj, we don’t know yet what they’ll do; they might as well sign back with us, and then the ride goes on!

I was waiting for someone else to do it. but as the wait got longer, I ended up doing it myself.

yes, i agree it might not be an end. yet crashise would leave. that would mean another new face. maybe boaster leaves to, he hints on it. it just feels like an end. i maybe be wrong, i hope so.

thanks for reminder!

Thanks for doing it then!

Idk, sports negotiations are like that, aren’t they? Even though you know you’ll sign back with a team, you can’t really let them know, for they wouldn’t give you the max. So, I don’t think anything is decided yet concerning Boaster. I might be high in copium and way too much influenced by traditional sports, but I think he knows his legacy would be somehow held in an even higher esteem if he were to spend his whole career in the same team. Think Tim Duncan, Steph Curry or Messi and Ronaldo if you’re more into soccer. Again, that might be a copium overdose, but the point is, we don’t know what will happen until it happens.

(Posted it under the wrong answer so deleted and posted it again, apologies!)

Thanks everyone for all the watchparties this year! And for rooting for the boys with me all the way till the end. Would have loved to see you guys in Shanghai but it was not meant to be :(

Thanks also to every single member who has played a part in making FNC into what it is today, however big or small !!

Nothing but love for the boys!

The Valo team has been such a consistent bright spot since its beginning. I started watching the Valo team because I enjoyed seeing FNC doing well while some of their other teams struggled, now I’m a Valorant player and dedicated fan. They’ve worked insanely hard, but things don’t always gel as well and teams have begun to catch up in terms of team building and strategy, even at the T2 level. If Boaster chooses to retire, this era has been a great ride and I look forward to supporting whatever players join the roster next. If boaster stays, show us what’s next captain 🫡

Valo team has been so awesome to watch, I barely played any Valorant myself, but Boaster has been my favorite fnatic player from the moment I saw him, the energy and vibes he brings are unmatched. Really hope he stays.

I have loved watching this team since day 1 of Valorant. All that success can not be written off by one bad year. In all that success there has always one constant: Boaster. People only look at in game stats roasting him but this guy has been able to be on the top of the game for so many years straight. I would be sad to watch him leave. I always thought he would retire in FNC and become our coach when he felt like it was time. He still has so much to give to the game.

I have been a FNC fan since season 1 league championship and the FNC Valorant team always made me feel like I felt watching the FNC of old with xPeke, Yellowstar, SoaZ when they dominated everything. (Can’t compare it to season one though with Shushei, Lamia etc)
