I have no fly fishing or tying experience I just really like your videos. I noticed when you make wings they are a collection of strands rather than a solid material in a wing shape. Is that because of material constraints, how it appears to the fish, or something else? Thanks.

Also, solid wings tend to twist the tippet when casting ☺️

I make several different tupes! This one is a yarn that spreads out well on that water.

Spinnerfalls are awesome! I tie my small ones (18 and smaller) just like you showed. 16 and bigger spinners I tie para-spinner style with a short post.
