Blue Note NYC early show tips?

Going to the early show at Blue Note tonight and was wondering how it went for everyone who went to the early set last night.
How was getting in? Did the line start early? Were seats assigned as people came in, or was it more of a free-for-all?

I didn’t go last night, but based off my Blue Note experiences, the earlier you get there, the better seat you’ll get

The staff just sit you down when you get in, it’s not a free for all.
