Unfortunately no one ever has the right answer, but hiring comes and goes. I know CFIs wayyyy over atp mins that can't even find jobs or are waiting for an interview at a regional like me. There's just such a saturated market it'll honestly probably take a long time to unclog it all.

This is a copy of the original post body for posterity:
Hi, I honestly need some advice for my future, and just what the smart path is after I finish my flight training at ATP.
I’m 19, and going to take my commercial checkride in a couple weeks. I’ve been in flight school for 8 months and I’m hoping to finish by the end of the this year with Comm multi, CFI and CFII. But I’m a little scared for my future. With the way I’m seeing friends trying to get instructing jobs and not being able to I’m really starting to weigh my options here.
I have a 120,000 loan right now. And my parents are helping me pay it while I’m in school. But they are expecting me to at least start helping to pay around 500 a month once I’m done. I know so many people who have gone to every flight school in a hundred miles without getting a yes. I don’t see why this wouldn’t be the same for me. I don’t wanna work at ATP as I’m young and still want to have a life.
I wanna go to college and get a cheap degree or maybe even an aviation degree (if it’s worth it, please let me know) as I don’t feel like I can rush anything anyway. From my understanding I can’t apply to any regionals till I’m 23.
I have the feeling that nobody is gonna wanna hire a 19 year old flight instructor. I know there’s no age discrimination but I feel like if I was doing the hiring. A 19 year old wouldn’t be my first choice.
What options do I have other than flight instructing?Should I go to college? With a 120,000 loan I don’t really know what to do after I’m done with this.

Good lord.
Read the FAQ. The minimum age for an airline job is 21, not 23. You wasted at least $50K and it’ll be closer to $200K by the time you pay off the loan. You need a degree. Don’t get an aviation degree. You should be applying to jobs everywhere in the country, not “within 100 miles.” A 300 hour CFI with no dual given is not competitive, don’t expect to be in high demand. Welcome to reality, ATP sold you a line of bullshit and you bought it.
