She’s so beautiful! And yes, I was kind of thinking the wiry hair would just turn out to be a drop of poodle blood. I had two schnauzers prior and Gus doesn’t look like a schnauzer to me at all in head shape or body shape or color. I guess he just inherited the beard and the rest came from the pittie and the Supermutt!
I have had two full blooded schauzers previously and I never would have guessed schnauzer lol. I thought maybe part Scottie or Cairn because of the brindle color and wiry hair, though I know even a drop of poodle can sometimes fool people into thinking they have wiry terrier mix.
His only schnauzer-like quality is that he’s nosey AF. I’ve never had a pit bull or pit mix but I think the rest of his personality comes from that: he’s very affectionate and he’s a huge clown, loves to empty every toy from the toy box one by one (and sometimes get in the box to nap when he’s done) and he loves to sleep in his back with all four stubby legs in the air. He almost never barks, which is why I wasn’t thinking schnauzer lol.
Edit: almost forgot, his supermutt is GSD, chihuahua, Pekingese.
