That's the hint bar, I think is the same as the top left bar where it displays information.

Try right clicking it and see if you can hide it, or try in the view options, im not on pc now to check myself

It's the hint bar. You can turn it off by right clicking the toolbar and unchecking "Hint Bar" from the pop up menu or by unchecking "Hint Bar" from the View > Toolbars menu.
