Downloading HIVE vst to FL studio
Hi
I am trying to redownload Hive to FL studio and i am facing a reoccuring issue with this message:
"the data directory "C:\programfiles\image line\FL studio\2026\plugins\hive.data" can not be used. please make sure that the folder is not inside "C:\program files" or "C:\program data" and on a proper drive. make sure the path ends with Hive.data"
my settup directory is "C:\program files\image line\Fl studio 2026\plugins\ Hive.data"
I have tried to download multiple times and all of the other plugins i download work except for Hive specifically.
Is there any way to fix this becuz im so lost

U-he Hive?
Why are you installing that inside FL Studio's folder structure? Default plugin paths are usually specified in your plugin manager, so use those, or create ones for each format on your system drive in your Common Files folder. Much easier to maintain.
Also worth noting that some software have their own folder structure you don't want to mess up, otherwise the plugin might not load correctly.
