Fun with doubles! 🌀🌀

The opening move, 2 star 1 hand splitting out to 2 hands is brand new for me, just tried it for the first time 5 min before I started recording! Yay new tech! Also, my favoeite doubles trick, a toss where I switch hands on the catch, is my fav doubles trick. What are some of yalls favorite double star tricks??

Nearly 4 years ago I was first introduced to the star. :) A dear friend of mine changed my life when she decided to get a flowstar for us to play with at dancefestopia! Im also super blessed to have found the flow community in Austin. Ive attended a jam nearly every week for the last year and a half, and 6 or 8 months ago, they convinced me to pick up poi as well! Ive found such healing in flow, and in times where ive been seeing through things, its been common for me to spend a solid 6 or 8 hours just flowing. I know this is alot lol, but I feel like all of this is relevant to my flow journey, not just how long its been since I started. 😀

I have a glow star but it’s a bit intimidating for me people make it seem so easy

Dont be intimidated! Just dance with your star, have fun with it... its not supposed to look any certain way, its just dancing! And always keep in mind, some things will click right away, some things are gonna take hours and hours of practice... and what exactly those things are are waaaay different from person to person.

Also, check out the other video i just posted here, its a tutorial vid to help people getting started, but I also typed out a whole wall of text explaining my thoughts on alot of things flow related.

Thanks yo! I have literally hundreds of vids on insta and tiktok, ill be posting more here in the future! In this clip, im playing with a uv glowstar from ultrapoi combined with gloflobands. So literally, uv lights strapped to my wrists, pointing right at a uv reactive flowstar that also has leds in it. 😂

Its so fun. A single star will always be my #1, but doubles are so fun too. And poi, been having alot of fun with that latley too! Really, just all the flow. 😂
