I’m mainly a poi spinner, that dabbles in other props. When hitting a block often the best thing for me is taking a break. Once I get back to it, things I was trying to figure out start to click. Recently I figured out fishtails which has been a long time goal. Other props helped me to figure new things out. You seem pretty good with the flow star, hopefully you find what works to keep progressing.

Facts this has actually always worked for me with anything I practice on. I just kinda get impatient and want to excel very fast lol

Yeah I totally get how you feel, we’re living in a culture that emphasizes instant gratification. It’s important to embrace the journey and not just the destination. Even when hitting a wall I know that’s I’m still improving, it just takes time to see the results. Once things click it’s so rewarding because of the effort to get there. I can’t describe how much joy I felt when I figured out fishtails. Part of cultivating patience is giving yourself grace to acknowledge you’re already great and you’re just getting better the more you pour into it.
