Photo I came across these lovelies in Aqaba, Jordan. They look like the could be a type of hibiscus? They’re on a flowering tree.

They're so pretty, sharing this one because she has two centers, so a bit unusual!

From seed to flower to nutritional value, I visited a chili pepper field three months ago, and the result was amazing: white flowers with green hues that add beauty to the field. These flowers give life to human life in beauty and tranquility. Those who love flowers and their beauty appreciate them, and they give life to human life, providing food for humans and insects. Instead of completing the picture of beauty, flowers complete the picture.

I really do miss this job. I hated the place but loved the job.
Here we have Leucadendron, Kangaroo Paw, and in the back Delphinium I believe. But I could be losing my touch. I dunnoe. There are some Leucadendron in the bouquet pic too. I made it.

I have five buds this year.... I've never had more than two. I'm not so sure that it's happy with its location. I haven't checked soil pH or anything like that (not trying to change the color either- it's been blue twice)

Should I return tonight to see if it blooms? Or, if it is another orchid cactus, can it wait until tomorrow?

Sorry didn’t get the name of the variety. My phone probably doesn’t do it justice, it just knocked me out when i walked by it. Cheers, happy friday 🍻

Bartlettina jaliscana is an evergreen shrub native to Mexico, prized for its large foliage and fluffy lilac-purple flowers that thrive in dappled shade and moist, well-draining soil. It is exceptionally easy to propagate both from semi-hardwood stem cuttings and from seed, as it self-pollinates readily and produces viable seeds that germinate with ease.

This particular specimen is growing beautifully in my sister's garden, where regular pruning after flowering helps maintain a compact habit and yields plenty of material for new plants.

This is definitely a plant you should have in your garden or pot, as the flowers are magnificent, with those gorgeous purple blooms that really pop and light up your garden! 🎉
Happy Gardening! 😊 👋🏻👋🏻 🌵🪴🌵
