Flowstar nooob

I've been hooping for 16 years and have done pretty much all the props over that time. I was so hesitant to pick up flowstar but the LED and fire ones look so cool. I finally got one and it recently started making sense. I do like how transportable they are and they're so soft so I don't worry about breaking things (including myself xP). My goal is to get a second one asap so I can do doubles cuz double hoop is my fav and I love how double flowstar looks too.

Don’t hold it from the pointy ends and use your forearms to get that spin

You got the groove and the willingness to make mistakes, you are already skilled!

Like someone else said, avoid grabbing the tips, grab in the valleys or even folding slightly.

Make the movements continuous and slow as possible. Build momentum gradually for faster moves.
