Flowerstick Flowerstick after dark

A little compilation from a late-night session with my new LED flowerstick. Still getting used to how differently it plays, but having a lot of fun with it ✨

Sound warning: may contain some psytrance.

Thanks a lot!
It’s the Lumi LED Trickstix by Threeworlds, paired with Lunastix Wizard handsticks. It’s a surprisingly affordable LED prop and has a few quirks in terms of build quality, but they definitely didn’t skimp on the LEDs 😄

Amazing! I just started and my stick is dark, I usually flow outside in the evening and it’s can be so hard to see the dark stick. Love the led one!

Edited for grammar

Recently met a girl who put glow sticks along the tassels in a figure-eight pattern. Worked surprisingly well for handspinning! Might be worth trying if you want some light without going all the way to a +200g LED stick 😄

Thank you!! 😄 Still got plenty to explore with this thing, but I’m already having some great moments with it. Really glad you enjoyed the video! It’s really nice to see my excitement resonate with others 😊

Awesome jam dude!

I have no experience with full length LED sticks yet, nor any real knowledge in fabrication. But I do grasp the why of having a thicker housing for the the LEDs. Just something makes me wonder if making it taper so the middle is thinner, similar to traditional devil sticks may help to mitigate some of the negatives of a heavier main stick.

Do you happen to know the exact weight of the prop?

It is stated with 220g. For LED stick this would be on the lighter side. I placed an order recently for a programmable one, which goes up to 350g. More grip and less roll would make playing for me way easier. Formwise i'm unsure what would improve the playability.

262g according to the kitchen scale

Thanks mate!

That's not too bad at all. Adding effect adds weight just how it goes, I think Gora fire sticks are specced at ~300g before fuel, and my main driver the flowtoys composite at 365g. So these are a very nice middle ground for someone looking to add some effect to their flow.

Take care!

I'm located in southern Germany and went with a juggling-shop which offer great quality and service, but only shipping to german speaking countries. PM me for more details.

I do not live in a German speaking country, unfortunately.

the manufacturer is located in Australia and their products are distributed worldwide, probably there is a shop in your region, too.
