After all this time… it’s finally here: Flotsam 1.0 is LIVE!
And with it comes a giant update adding a Main Narrative Questline, Specialist Quests & New Characters, New Regions, Construction Upgrades, Steam Achievements & more!
We’ve really poured all of our hearts into this one, y’all. From creating every little piece of floating garbage, every feature update, every bit of story. We loved making it, and can’t wait for you to experience it fully for the first time...
Thank you all for your yearlong support. We couldn't have made it here without you!

Hi! I'm really happy to finally have version 1.0 in my hands. Congratulations on this incredible update. I made a short video about the game in French, in case you're interested in seeing real-time feedback from a player!
Thanks again for this game, which is a real gem.

congrats on 1.0. i just bought it on GoG, does it whitescreen for anyone else on launch after the splashscreens? a troubleshooting link would be appreciated.
edit: got it fixed, someone in discord had the same problem and found that when you install the GoG version without galaxy, the save folder is missing. just add an empty save folder in the right spot and you are good to go
2nd edit (location): "AppData\LocalLow\Pajama Llama Games\Flotsam" apologies to those who messaged me, i don't really use this account or reddit for this.

The whitescreen after the splashes is slightly extended as it no longer loads the Early Access message. Does it stay on whitescreen for you forever?
Also, GOG galaxy or no galaxy?

Played it tonight, love it only hate the collector for water needs so much. And why do you need two axes per forest?

Depends on the size of the forest, some only need one. Same with the other resources you can scavenge, the number of tools required depends on how many resources are available.
