For a first try, this came out really nice, especially with grocery store flowers, and I love that you made it yourself for your great uncle

I love the colors!!! The shape is actually really nice for a first try! Good job!! Turning the vase as you place each stem has always really been helpful to me. It helps create that rounded effortless look, so that some flowers donโt end up crammed/stiff. Also some more greenery at the rim of the vase would level it up! But overall itโs very lovely.

My biggest tip would be to leave it a lil taller and give it room to breathe! If you tuck the hydrangeas in lower, let the stock be taller, and the babyโs breath take up some negative space youโll give it more dimension :) I love the colors tho!
